Printed materials

C&M conceive, research, write, edit and design a variety of publications, many of which are concerned with walks, places and how to explore them.

Printed materials range from newsletters, journals and bulletins such as the Forest of Avon walks guide, Avon Valley News and the Bristol & Bath Railway Path newsheet, to award winning guidebooks and themed booklets including the River Avon Trail guide, the Sea Mills Circular Walk, the Field Boundaries of South Gloucestershire and the Ridge Wood booklet and leaflet.

Considerable authoring and editorial experience with high-profile publishers ensures professionalism and attention to detail.

Audience and Accessibility

C&M associates use existing or specially commissioned maps and pictures to tell a story where possible. In text we try to use lively, engaging plain English with sentences of generally short, but varied length to be read by all age ranges and reading abilities.

We aim to comply with RNIB guidelines across all printed matter, and where appropriate make material available in other languages.

The River Parrett Trail Guide – Peter planned, wrote the interpretive text and commissioned the artwork for this award-winning guidebook, which leads the walker from the source of the River Parrett to its mouth on the Somerset coast.
