C&M associates understand the value of events in both raising awareness and celebrating a person, place or historic occasion. Our treatment of events always occurs in consultation with the groups and individuals who care about the occasion, and each is carefully planned to tease out a unique, bespoke and appropriate type of event.
The longer term aim of an event is often to develop pride and future good husbandry or to transfer skills and keep traditions alive. Where possible we have brokered a sustainable link between disparate groups – a primary school now intends to make an annual field trip to nearby Saltford Brassmill to explore the area’s willow heritage.

The Rainbow Woods project in Bath sought to address the loss of a much-loved beech wood to high winds, with the community of Combe Down.
School projects and a succession of public events explored the issues of loss, time and regeneration with the beauty of the woodland through the seasons. (with Changing Places & Bath City Council)
